If you’re like me, you don’t need a headline or letter to tell you that the world could use some help. It’s also likely you feel that your help is not enough. The mounting challenges seem to pile higher every day.

Together, we are making a tremendous difference that collectively changes the world, but nothing will change if no one does anything.

• $50 can provide tutoring for a child twice a month for one school year

In the last year, Jersey Cares has enabled more than 17,000 people to do something about the problems they see in the world. Whether coordinating our weekly Tutor and Mentor projects, running a statewide coat distribution, managing a school revitalization project or delivering the Frosty’s Friends holiday gift program, Jersey Cares is constantly reaching out to identify the needs of New Jersey’s communities and bringing people together to meet those needs.
